Gracias, Maestro. No sabia tampoco hasta una semana antes!! Estoy aqui y trabajamos mucho construyendo una casa hoy. Manana seguimos. Gracias por el mensaje.
Marcie, I am so happy that you are going on this trip! Your gifts and talents will be such a blessing to the team and to the Guatemalan people you meet. Praying for the family you are building for tomorrow. Praying that God begins to open their hearts to hear the message of love. Praying for safety, strength, health and changed lives.
Marcie,
Kori
Marcie,
May God use your teaching gifts to bless this team and your strength to strengthen others. May your invaluable translating skills run into love and joy that is beyond words.
Thanks, Bob! We are having some good opportunities to use Spanish, and we are working HARD! Just walking up the mountainside to get to our work site is enough to put me out of breath (of course, that doesn’t take much!!). Julie, Linda and I are having a great time–so is the rest of the team.
No car sickness yet, but I’ve been sitting mostly in the front seat so far (and taking Bonine DAILY). The roads are something else!!
Yes, I miss you! I wish you were here to chat and yuck it up with!!
Hola, Jane! We are working hard and having a great time–lots of work–today was stucco day. You can imagine the condition that we were by the time we got done!! God is good. So far I have had the strength to walk up and down the mountainside to get to our site and then work (at my age)! Haha! Hope you are well!
Hola, Kerrah y Walter!
I hope you are having a good time and make sure that Linda is working hard. I miss you and I’m looking foreword to seeing you soon my love. Te Amo Mi Amor ❤️❤️❤️😘
Hola, Jack. Everything is going fine here–lots of hard work and exercise–you would love it!! Linda, Julie and I are all working VERY HARD!! Loved the Spanish ending to your note! Miss you.
Hola Craig, Que extraordinario tu espanol!!! (Sorry, I don’t have the accents or ~ on this computer for Spanish).
Hi Marcie, So great that you were able to go with the gang. I’m sure you are such a help with being fluent in Spanish. Wow, I sure wish I could write you this note in Spanish like so many others have !!! What a gift. I see you working very hard. I’m so proud of ALL of you. I’m praying for you every day. God’s blessings, Ann
Thanks, Ann. We know we are fighting spiritual battles here and we REALLY appreciate your prayers! When the blog for today is posted, you’ll get a little taste of what we did.
Hi Marcie – so glad you aren’t having problems with car sickness or anything else. Keep up the good work. Praying you are being blessed as I am sure you are blessing the people around you. Have Fun!
Hey Marcie how great you could go down to Guatemala again! Praying that you can touch lives of people both on the team and there in Guatemala! Can’t wait to have you guys getting home it’s getting soon
Thanks for the note, Bob. We are having a lot of exciting experiences here in Guate. Yesterday was the first medical clinic, today the second. We are coming to the end. We appreciate all of the prayers on our behalf.
Marcie,
As I read the different blogs, it is so evident that you have been such a blessing on this trip in so many ways! Especially your gift of Spanish! Praising God that you were able to go on this trip and use your many talents.
Praying today for you for health and safety and also that God may continue to use you and the team to spread His Good News to others. Praying for open hearts and minds!
Thanks for the note, Kristy. It has been a huge blessing to be here and to be part of this incredible team. We have worked A LOT this week and learned much through it all. We appreciate your prayers!
Marcie:
What a blessing for you to be able to go on this mission trip to Guatemala with the team. I’m very thankful for your ability to communicate with the people there when the team needs your help. I’ve been praying that God is using you to be a blessing and is also blessing you at the same time. Will continue to pray for Health and strength and stamina for the remainder of the week.
Thanks, Mic (oops, Michelle!), We have had a very good week! Some of the group has suffered from some rumbling stomachs, but for the most part every one has stayed involved. I have enjoyed getting to know Hannah. She’s a dear!
