Hi Alli! Welcome to Guatemala!! Hopefully your flight was good and customs went as hoped. I’m hoping by the weeks end, that you will understand why almost everytime I talk about Paradise Bound mission trips, I get emotional. Prayers that you will be rested for your week of physical work and spiritual and emotional work ahead of you. You probably will want to take a couple of those precious children home with you:)

And remember when it seems that it is going wrong, God is actually making it go very right. Lean on Him and on Him alone, and you will witness amazing things, impact the lives of those around you, and be just as impacted by them.
We had a great first day on the worksite! I was in a group of mostly girls, and we rocked the power tools. 😉 We built a house for a family, and then my group spent a decent amount of time playing games with the kids! That is so true, great reminder, thank you! I definitely am being impacted by the trip!
Alli, I loved seeing all the pictures of you and your mighty team building a home!! You are amazing and it is so fun seeing you share your gifts with these girls. Thank you for all that you do! Praying that you have another fabulous night of worship. Big hugs

Dedication day is always my favorite part…sharing with the family, listening to the rapid fire spanish (and surprisingly being able to understand far more than I should thanks to the Holy Spirit) and then watching that Tipping Point of Eternity happen! WOW!! There are just no words. So glad you got to experience this! Love that you are there. Praying that worship time is fantastic and as you make the switch to med clinics I pray that all goes well. Praying for continued health as usually it is about this time people start getting sick. Big hugs

Oh man! All I can say is God is so good! My life (as well as so many others) have been deeply impacted by dedication day, and I am forever changed. There were so many moments where the Holy Spirit was moving! I had an incredibly touching moment with the mom of our house. My eyes hurt, and I cannot breathe from all of the tears of joy that came today, but am Praising God for HIS power ans GLORY!
You are touching lives amazingly !!! It has been through God’s strength and leading, through the power of prayer and through your willing actions. I know you are “blessed to be a blessing” and God unfolds blessings back to you too !! I’m praying for you. Love, Ann DG
