Thank you Katie, Mom, and Grandma! I definitely felt the prayers today! Last night, as I’ve been worrying throughout the travel, and all the important parts of keeping ourselves safe, we sang the Power of Your Love. One of the lyrics is “And I will soar with you, your spirit leads me on, by the power of your love.” This was a huge comfort that has really changed my worried outlook into an outlook that says, God’s got this, and let’s see where he can use me. Today we built a LOT of the house, and it was such a blessing, because God guided me to both work, and stretch out of my comfort zone to talk with others in Spanish. I was nervous, but God put in my group a number of other students who also speak some Spanish, so we worked together to form some connections with the older gentleman we were building for, as well as many of the kids around the village. I saw God today through the wonderful smiles of the kids we played with. It’s amazing how in Guatemala the kids are so content. We just ran around, played with a ball, and even just picked flowers. God reminded the joy of simply being. Please pray that we all may continue to be BOLD in Christ.

You’re in my thoughts and prayers as you show God’s love to the people of Guatemala! Praying for the blessing of health and safety as you work,play and travel!:)
Today was a beautiful day. I got to wake to a beautiful foggy outlook over the mountains, then I got to get drenched in stucco due to some other friends in the group(And my own clumsiness). We also got to paint the house and put on Bible verses, but my favorite part of the day today was definitely the small moments. I sat down with two kiddos to start coloring. Over the next half hour, ten more kids came for coloring and candy. It was pure joy to sit and color with them, watching them share and giggling with the kids as they passed around the crayons. My other highlight was as Jared and I were leaving the village to go back to the vans. We stopped for a moment, because there was this little two year old fella walking in the road with his grandma. I leaned down, and ripped out a few pages from a coloring book, and gave him some pages and crayons. He gave me this puzzled look and tried to give them back to me, and I told him no, es para tu. (After a little while) He took the crayons, and smiled and waved goodbye as we left. This joy, these relaxing moments of Holy Spirit filled love are what I live for.

Best day of my life thus far. Today we were able to be a part of all five houses accepting Christ. It was incredibly powerful to be a small part of these people’s lives! When it wasn’t our household, every group prayed outside the house where one group was in the house with the family. Through many powerful, beautiful, wonderful experiences ALL OF THEM accepted Christ! The Holy Spirit was with our team the entire day, and I absolutely loved praying constantly, loving constantly, and being full of joy for God!

So, the past couple of days have been great and amazing, but today, a number of us woke up with some ‘bathroom issues.’ I ask that you pray for us that good health may come upon us, and the issues do not interfere with our ability to spread God’s love to the village medical clinic and each other today. This is definitely showing that Satan doesn’t want us to keep up God’s work! Pray for strength for everyone. Thanks for all the support and prayers! Prayer is essential to this trip, so please keep being warriors!

Joey, I am so sorry you were one of the people feeling sick. Praying that the meds kick in and you are able to be fully engaged tonight at the med clinic. All that has been happening will be used by God tonight and tomorrow as you form FAST relationships with people in the village which will make all the difference when the call to come to the cross is made. Praying that as the team helps the physical needs that their hearts are open to hearing about their spiritual needs. Praying for safety on the way there and back. Leaving to a Whole Nother Mission…
Hi everyone! It’s been a little while since I posted, I just got so caught up in the amazing excitement, powerful spiritual warfare, and lots of prayer. As I make my trip back home, I think of many things. I think of the man on our first clinic night, who, even though I prayed over him, has not accepted Christ..yet. I think of the wonderful, beautiful testimonies I’ve heard, and the great discussions and powerful prayers for each other. I think of Hermano, and how we now have a connection across the world with our faith in Christ and WWJD bracelet. I think of these forty people, who have become a family, and I pray continually that we may truly leave changed, and stay that way. Please pray for Hermano, and Edwin,(Who didn’t accept Christ) and give them strength to pursue God. Pray that the team may forever be changed by what’s greatly impacted them all this week.
